Dr. Rendy Pahrun Wadipalapa is a researcher at Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and the principal investigator for this project. With a PhD from the University of Leeds' School of Politics and International Studies, he specializes in Southeast Asian politics with particular focus on democratic breakdowns, electoral dynamics, and political behavior in Indonesia. His research explores the complex intersections of politics, power, and public welfare, including how social assistance programs like Bansos influence Indonesia's democratic landscape. Dr. Wadipalapa brings both scholarly rigor and public engagement to his work, regularly contributing analysis to leading publications including The Jakarta Post, Tempo, and Kompas.
Diana Ma'rifah, M.Si.
Diana Ma'rifah is a researcher at the Center for Domestic Governance Research at Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). With expertise in human resource management, she brings both academic rigor and practical insights to understanding Indonesia's governance challenges. Her research focuses on civil servant management and regional development, including special economic zones and strengthening human resources in frontier regions. A graduate of Jenderal Soedirman University with both bachelor's and master's degrees in human resource management, Diana combines methodical research approaches with a deep commitment to improving Indonesia's public sector effectiveness and accountability.
Azmi Listya Anisah, M.B.A.
Azmi Listya Anisah is a researcher at the Center for Domestic Governance Research at Indonesia's National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). With a background in psychology and business administration from Gadjah Mada University, she specializes in organizational behavior and human development in Indonesia's civil service. Her research explores the intersection of public administration, mental health, and workplace dynamics, with particular focus on civil servant management in special economic zones and remote regions. Azmi has presented her work at international conferences in Indonesia and Thailand, and has published extensively on topics ranging from work flexibility in government to artificial intelligence policy in decentralized governance systems.
